We had a customer bring their car in for repair because the heating system wasn't working. We found out that the previous owner had blocked off the heater core because it was leaking into the passenger floorboard. The repair was a big one, costing $1300 in labor. But now the heat works, the customer is happy, and another vehicle is back on the road. We were glad to help this customer, and we hope they'll come back to us again in the future.

From Lack of Power to a Smooth Ride: How We Fixed the 2014 Kia Sportage's Turbo Engine

This customer's car had a lack of power and the check engine light was on due to a common issue with these turbo engines - the waste gate actuator falling out of adjustment. After two burnt out actuators and much adjustment, the owner decided to remove the turbo from the engine bay, revealing that the waste gate pivot was sliding back and forth in its slot. Following some crude welds and a few hundred miles, this car was fixed. We were happy to get this customer back on the road with a quality repair.
