💰 $40 PER HOUR + BONUSES & ADDITIONAL EARNING OPPORTUNITIES
Sylvania Auto Group is seeking an experienced master mechanic with advanced diagnostic and repair skills across multiple makes and models.
Candidates must be proficient in diagnosing check-engine, ABS, airbag, and other vehicle warning lights, accurately identifying the root cause, and completing the necessary repairs.
📍 This position is based at our repair facility in Sylvania, Ohio, at a separate location from the dealership.
WHAT WE OFFER:
✅ $40 per hour
✅ Attendance and punctuality bonuses
✅ 5 days per week, 8 hours per day
✅ Potential vehicle purchase and resale opportunities through the dealership, subject to management approval, auction rules, and a separate written agreement
REQUIREMENTS:
• Current ASE certification
• Your own tools, including professional-grade diagnostic equipment capable of advanced troubleshooting across multiple makes and models
• Strong electrical, electronic, and mechanical diagnostic skills
• Ability to identify the cause of a problem and verify that repairs resolve it
• Ability to work independently and complete quality repairs efficiently
• Consistent attendance, punctuality, and clear communication
• Professional attitude, accountability, and respect for coworkers
YOUR ROLE:
• Perform thorough vehicle inspections and advanced diagnostics
• Diagnose and repair warning-light concerns, electrical faults, and mechanical issues
• Complete routine maintenance and prepare dealership inventory for sale
• Identify safety concerns and communicate repair needs and realistic completion times
• Maintain a clean, organized work area
