💪 “Guts. Glory. Ram.”
That’s the Dodge slogan — and this Ram 2500 is living proof.
🪟 First things first: front glass removal.
We had the glass removed Monday so we could jump right into this job.
🛠️ Next up: truck bed prep.
We removed the lights, top trim, tonneau cover, bedside moldings, and flares. Up top, the cab lights came off along with the side trim — clearing the way for a proper refinish.
⚙️ Rust repair and bodywork.
We tackled the rust by grinding and cleaning it all out. After some solid repair work and fresh primer, we final-sanded everything smooth and prepped for paint.
🎨 Color-matched with the VIN and paint code, we laid down a fresh red on the roof and both bedsides — finished off with three coats of clear.
🧼 After the weekend: polish time.
We wet sand 1000-3000 and polish to lock in the shine and even out the finish across the truck. We followed up by a complete polish and selant on the entire exterior of the vehicle.
💡 Reassembly and finishing touches.
✔️ Reinstalled the front glass
✔️ Swapped out all burnt bulbs
✔️ Replaced missing tonneau cover brackets (at least four were gone!)
✔️ Delivered our Top Package Interior Detail — carpets scrubbed, leather cleaned and conditioned all plastic cleaned, windows, vents and all the nooks and crannies all cleaned up— it looks brand new inside.✨💎
🔧 Tailgate fix.
The tailgate wasn’t working right. After opening it up, we found a mess — tie wire holding parts together from a previous DIY fix. We replaced all the latches and internal hardware. Now it opens and closes like it’s fresh off the lot. Then we also noticed both batteries were old so we dropped in 2 new Interstate.
🔥 Another Ram, restored and ready.
Back on the road, looking tough and clean — ready to put in work and turn heads doing it.
