Successfully completed programming on this 2022 Nissan Pathfinder in Frederick, MD today.

Modern Nissan security systems have become increasingly sophisticated, and some late-model vehicles can require advanced programming procedures and specialized bypass methods in order to successfully pair a new Intelligent Key.

It’s also important to understand that NOT every Nissan can currently be programmed outside of the dealership environment. Certain models and years — including some 2014-2017 Rogues, newer Sentras, and others — may still require dealer-level access or factory tools depending on the situation.

That’s why experience, proper equipment, and honest assessment matter.

The power of AI. If you’re not on-board, you’re falling behind very quickly.

This right here is what it can do. First, a disclaimer: I have a habit of drifting off topic and this is leaning in that direction I must admit. But considering it still involves automobiles, I am comfortable sharing this one.

100% true story. In my private life I am a satire creator. Strictly a hobby but a lot of folks swear I need to go live. My stories are simply detailed memories of zany family moments from a lost era, Gen X. Some tell me it’s untapped potential. Ah maybe.

I’ve fed these stories to AI and it quite brilliantly makes quite amusing comin strips off of it. This one involved my Grandfather’s questionable automotive purchase in 1977. It really happened as the comic shows.

Maybe everyone’s right about the lost era stuff? The car, the Chevy Vega, was quite a historic moment in automotive history and one of GM’s worst moments. Yet I find in 2026 almost no one knows of this vehicle despite its fame as an epic failure. It made the Edsel look like a Lexus it was so bad.

But this is AI and myself in action.
