September is here and this is the month to bring awareness to Pediatric Cancer🎗️Join us throughout the month of September as we support the cause to . SMC is partnering with the Sunbury Family Pantry and Alec’s Angels, two amazing causes dedicated to supporting their community!
Alec’s Angels started their foundation with one simple goal in mind; To Support Families Facing Pediatric Cancer. Inspired by Alec’s battle with Ewing’s Sarcoma, his family wanted to continue on with their son’s mission to help other families affected by pediatric cancer. They provide financial assistance, support for travel and lodging needs, comfort items for children such as ‘Worry Pets’, stuffed animals, art supplies, and other activities, as well as Child Life programs. Their foundation also partners with the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) and Janet Weis Children’s Hospital.
The Family Pantry of Sunbury has a mission to provide food, support, and encouragement to individuals and families facing difficult times. They believe that no family should have to face hunger alone. Their goal is to welcome each person with dignity, compassion, and care.
