Completed this F22C build at the end of last week for a good customer of mine. He purchased a Honda S2000 that was neglected by the previous owner with plans to bring it back to life. So he brought me the engine for a refresh and it was worse than we thought once I took a look at it. The engine was locked up and needed a complete rebuild. He wanted me to build him a reliable engine with a few extras while I’m in there and I was glad to make that happen. After all the new parts and hours of cleaning and assembly this engine has been brought back up to spec plus some. Now the engine is in the car and is running great. Needless to say the customer was excited to see the car alive again! Only thing it needs now is a little break in time and then it’s ready to eat! 😎💪🏾

K24 long block heading out the door to a very loyal customer of mine. He wanted to make moves to come on over to the K series side and I was more than happy to make that happen! Now with this big part of the puzzle done his street killer is almost ready to be outside 😎💪🏾

2014 Dodge Charger came in for a misfire code that wouldn’t go away. Customer stated he changed the ignition coil and spark plug on that cylinder and nothing changed. When diagnosing the issue I noticed the misfire and a pretty loud ticking noise along with it. So I took the motor down enough to see what’s going on in the cylinder heads and found two lifters and two rocker arms that failed. I informed the customer of the problem and he told me to go ahead and replace all of them as preventative maintenance because it’s a common issue with the dodge 3.6 v6 engine. I went ahead and changed all 24 lifters and rocker arms. Now this car doesn’t misfire or tick anymore and is ready to ride! 😎👍🏾

An important PSA in engine maintenance: issues with timing chains and/or oil pressure need to be addressed ASAP. We recently wrapped up an extensive timing chain job on our customer’s 2000 Ford Expedition with the 4.6 Romeo engine. This truck came in making an awful clacking sound, and someone else recommended to our customer that he needed to change his timing chains so he brought it to us. Unfortunately, this job turned into something a bit more complex due to the excessive wear of the timing components, which caused further damage to the engine by clogging the oil-pickup and starving the passenger side cylinder head of oil. This caused the passenger side camshaft to seize, which then caused valve to piston contact (see video in comments). We ended up having to remove the head, clean out the entire engine and oil pan and oil pickup, install a newer cylinder head and new valves, and re-time the engine. This Ford is now back from the dead and running strong!

Our good customer needed the knock sensors replaced on his gorgeous 2017 Chevy Silverado and we were happy to help. One sensor required the removal of the starter and the other was relatively easy to get to. The successful replacement took care of the customer’s issue and we were able to save him some money as well. Thanks again for the valued business and support.

Recently completed a handful of jobs on this 2003 Nissan Frontier, including the timing belt, valve cover gaskets, plenum gasket, transmission fluid service, and front and rear shocks. Another shop quoted this customer over $3400 for all this work, but we were able to provide quality work for less than half that cost. The customer was extremely satisfied and saved a chunk of money too!

This Escalade came to us as a recommendation from another customer. He had an oil leak from the drain plug, which turned out to be an aftermarket plug replacing a stripped out OE plug. We recommended replacing the entire oil pan, and following a routine multipoint inspection, we noticed that the rear brakes and rotors needed immediate attention as well. The customer approved all the work and we completed the job with another satisfied customer. Thanks again for trusting us with your vehicle.

Our customer had an issue with her Audi A7 losing coolant as soon as she would add it. After a thorough diagnosis we found the leak - a hole in the cylinder head coolant pipe. After placing the A7 into service mode, we were able to successfully replace the pipe and get this Audi back on the road.
