I like using lags and deck screws. Leaving what I built capable of being disassembled and fasters saved for later. Like 60$ in fasteners, which doesn't go as farm as use to. The ramp will now become my safety rail on two levels.

My mount is obviously made to look cute, and definitely not hiding what roller looks like in the small time I'm using it. Picture of my current xand y axis situation. Pictured is what I'm planning to replace with and upgrade my abilities and planned projects in future to be made easier and also more complicated things to make in future. The idea is take head from this set up and make it removable if not needed, being axle to mill horizontal and vertical and with proper tooling able to cut throu use of various cutters

Its not pretty but it will work. Not feeling best so I'm ok with adaquet for this one.

Add some holes for for lag bolts and it's ready to mount so I can anchor motor to pull two pieces together. Next step is make a mouth to hold a roller, so cable can head down hill and neither cut threw wood or rub against angle iron frame.
