Working on a customer's 1987 Monte Carlo ss started at a leaking oil pan then slung the balancer and destroyed the crank snout so while pulling the engine found a freeze plug epoxied in then see some flaking off the driver's side of the block a little scraping and cleaning shows a 6" crack in the block . This was supposed to be a fresh built 327 and has less then 100 miles on it it will be going off to Brandon at lowcounty racing engines for a true build
