2026 End-of-Season Closing Dates

As another great summer at Summersville Lake begins to wind down, we want to announce our upcoming closing dates:

🛥️ Bank Slips: Must be out by Sept 10.

🛥️ O-01 through O-59 and DS-01 through DS-53: Must be out by Sept 17.

🛥️ All Remaining Slips: Must be out by Sept 20.

If you are in a shallow slip and would like to extend your stay, please call (304) 872-1331 and we will assign you a deeper slip.

Summersville Lake Marina will remain open with full services through Sept 20, so there’s still time to enjoy a few more days on the water!

Thank you to all of our slipholders, boaters, renters, and visitors for another great summer at Summersville Lake. We appreciate your continued support and look forward to seeing everyone again next season!

We are excited to announce that Summersville Lake Marina will open for the 2026 Season on Thursday, May 14!

Thank you all for your patience as we waited for lake conditions to improve. We are looking forward to welcoming everyone back to Summersville Lake for another great summer on the water.

2026 Summersville Lake Season Update:

As many of you know, West Virginia has experienced drought conditions this spring, with rainfall totals being several inches below what is normal. Recent rain has certainly helped, but Summersville Lake has still been slower than usual to reach summer pool. It has been very difficult this spring to estimate our opening date.

The good news is that we are currently less than 6 feet away from summer pool, and we are continuing to monitor lake conditions closely. Our goal is to open as soon as reasonably possible. If reaching summer pool continues to be too far away, then we will announce a partial opening in the near future.

We hope to make an official announcement early next week with more details. Thank you for your patience and support — we are looking forward to seeing everyone back at the lake this summer!
