This is our JDI-SFI "full race" standalone 3-channel ignition system for the 2001+ Yamaha SRX 700 and Vipers. Fully powered by auxiliary 12-16V auxiliary battery power, eliminating the OEM stator assembly and OEM wiring harness, relays, condensors, and ECT resulting in an easy (12-13 pound) weight savings over the OEM ignition system! Our entire JDI race package ignition system weighs in at just under 2 lbs!

Check out our newest one off the work bench!

JDI-SFI standalone 3-channel ignition system for a "Pro Stock" '97 Ski-Doo Mach Z. This one has been upgraded to Evinrude coils, and custom length MSD plug wires. Our system and configuration converts from the traditional OEM batchfire/wastespark, to a much more efficient and power gaining individual cylinder firing!

Chris Pisa has been rather busy this summer, and has had this build under wraps for quite some time. Now, he's slightly rolling back the cover as winter approaches!

I don't even know what to call it, other than maybe Project "T84"? I know it's a snow drag build...I know it's a Yamaha Vmax-4... I know it's "JDI Powered"...I know it's 159"...I know it's full of 2" Hellavation Traction Products...and I know If lined up to his other mod sled, this new one might actually make that one look very slow. Hmmm...

I can't wait to see what this one does on the JDI Mobile Track Dyno! Enjoy your week!

We can hardly wait to get Chris Pisa's "JDI Powered" Yamaha Vmax-4 Snow Drag Mod, back on our mobile Xtreme Dyno LLC track dyno, spinning over 10,200 RPM's!

We posted his testing video last year pre-season. This sled is completely tuned straight off our track dyno, from timing, fuel, and clutching. With over a few hundred thousand views; we had the top FB "experts" kind enough to give us their opinion on how it needed to be "clutched" differently. But, we were happy where it was at, and the results gave us what we were hoping for all season, with consistency and multiple wins at various MESC snow drag events, and other events as well.

So what's next? Why is it coming back? For years, Chris had to run the small power/MPH-robbing 8-tooth drivers, due to limited tunnel clearance. This past spring, JDI had one off "drop and roll" chaincase templates built, allowing us to run 10-tooth drivers on a shallow tunnel Vmax-4 chassis, and long 2" Hellavation Traction Products. Thank you to our long time friend and fabricator, Mike Murchy at Tri-M Welding & Fabrication in Chetek, WI for the great work as always, on executing the drop and roll fab work.

It should be most interesting to see what this Vmax-4 ET's and MPH's in 2027!

I've been in the new shop, and cranking out custom JDI standalone ignition systems all week, with more to come!

Here is a new JDI-SFI system (modified OEM flywheel not shown) for a Pro Stock 600 ZRT "Triple"! As always, our SFI systems convert from the OEM batchfire/wastespark, to a much more efficient and independent dyno proven power gain, over OEM CDI boxes with offset timing keys, and even our original GEN1 batchfire system.

This particular system is set up with our "flip on the fly" Advance Map 2 upgrade, which at the flip of a switch opens a new timing curve. Fully programmable ECU with OUR custom firing parameters installed, ready to fire. Built-in fully adjustable 2-step launch control always setup and included.

The best parts of the JDI system... no special custom flywheel plates; no setting multiple crank sensor pickups; no weak or power robbing OEM or aftermarket stators; we use consistent 12-16V DC power; each harness is hand built at JDI to your length specifications for neatness and layout, fully terminated using OEM style or specialized connectors; simple installation (add auxiliary grounds, spice in tether switch, connect tach feed wire, and connect to battery); each circuit is tagged; and detailed instruction manual included. For our paid customers only, we offer our private page (JDI Tech Talk), where we have a detailed tutorial video walking you through every step of understanding and successfully operating your JDI ignition system!

"2000" Yamaha SRX 700 "Plug & Play"!

We've been moving for over the last month, and now I'm back in the new shop, and cranking out JDI Power!

We've had massive inquiries for this particular system for years, and now it's ready to test!

It's been A LOT of wiring, but this is our new JDI "plug & play" system, similar to our 2001/2002 SRX/Viper models. This creates the ultimate "sleeper" setup!

Works in conjunction with the OEM wiring harness, flywheel, and stator with 12-16V auxiliary regulated power. Our system retains the use of the OEM headlight, and gauge cluster. Fully programmable ECU, and 2-step launch control!

Final testing starts shortly with Casey Hauck Performance. Stay tuned...

Big Congratulations to Alan Stuck and Denny Mousseau, on taking multiple class wins at the Twisting Trails Grass Drags!

The team took (4) 1st place and (1) 2nd place victories in a variety of classes (PS-1000, Heavy Mod 1000, Open Unlimited, PS-800, and Heavy Mod 800)

These Cat Triple powerplants are powered by our JDI-SFI "sequential fire" standalone ignition systems!

Congratulations again to all of you, and your hard work.

Congratulations to Francis Amalfi and his wife/driver Kayla! They fired up the gap-band at Snow Bash Grass Drags with their FBF Performance tuned, "JDI Powered" Pro Stock 600 Yamaha Triple.

This sled features our JDI-SFI "total loss" standalone ignition system, which converts the traditional batchfire triple, into an efficient, power gaining "sequential" fired engine.

Oh yeah...this was a new build that Frankie finished up at 10:00PM, the night before the race.
