Dad celebrated 50 years in business at this location in July of this year. When he originally decided to put the property up for sale I was overjoyed. Finally mom & dad will get to retire and enjoy the rest of their life. As time has gone by with no interest in the property, sadness is setting in. It's heartbreaking to think of how much time and energy mom & dad have spent here year after year to keep the business going, and for what? The property may sell for far less then it is worth, or even worse may not sell at all. Then on the other hand, the past few months have been filled with many blessings. My wonderful friends/ former co-workers at Andreas Furniture, took time out of their busy lives to come take on a major landscaping job to beautify the place. They pulled weeds, planted flowers, mulched, trimmed shrubs, and who knows what else, to make things beautiful, in hopes it would spark some interest. Love you guys! Then there are all the people that ask how dad is doing and that they are praying someone will buy the place. All the thoughts and prayers kind words about how hard mom & dad work and they so deserve to retire. I know somewhere there is someone out there looking for just the right spot to start a business. Please share with all your friends and get the word out. Maybe the right person will see it and decide they need this place.
