I’m just gonna make a public announcement here so people can see. You wouldn’t think I would have to say this, but I will because apparently people don’t think these days.
If you come to a car dealership or any other place of business, one of the first things you should probably do is come to the office to talk to someone. If someone is not there, then you call. If you want to casually look around or ride through that’s understandable. But what you DO NOT DO is start going to vehicles and opening doors or hoods without contacting someone first. That is a very good way to get yourself into trouble that you probably don’t want. Even if a door is unlocked because someone may have been working on the vehicle or doing something previously that DOES NOT make it OK for you to open the door pop the hood and start doing anything even if you are just looking at it. If you are the fellow that just came by and did this and couldn’t understand why I wasn’t real happy then maybe use a little better thought process. That is not how you do things. Even if something is for sale you actually check with someone first and your excuse of not knowing if someone was there isn’t acceptable, especially when you did not even come to the office door which was open but instead walked directly up to the vehicle to start looking inside and popping the hood. If there is a house for sale on the market, do you just walk in the house? NO!! So again didn’t think I would actually have to say this, but I’m putting it out there for everyone to see. People should think a little better about what they are doing. If you came to my business on a day that I was closed and did the same thing and cameras catch you then you’ll have more than just me to deal with because the Sheriffs Office will be showing up pretty quick asking questions. So think before you act!!
