One of the most common tech questions we see regarding Gen 3 Coyote Intake Manifold is how to cleanly manage the cluster of factory vacuum and IMRC ports on the back of the 2018+ intake manifold once the factory emissions equipment is deleted. Relying on universal parts-store assortments usually results in dry-rotting, cracking, and inevitable vacuum leaks down the line.

To solve this for builders, we’ve put together a dedicated solution: the PBH Performance Intake Vacuum Cap Kit (Part # PBH-675).

This kit provides an exact-fit, heavy-duty seal for all open manifold ports, preventing unmetered air from disrupting your idle or tune. It’s a simple, cost-effective way to ensure reliability and a clean finish on your build.

Available now on our website—just search part number PBH-675.

28 days. One iconic Tri-Five. Zero room for error. 🛠️

Barret Turner of Turners Automotive just proved what’s possible under pressure. He took a classic '55 Chevy Wagon and gave it a modern heart transplant: a Gen 1 5.0L Coyote paired with a 6R80 transmission.

Why the 28-day sprint? Barret was gunning for the Hot Rod Tour of Texas, where he successfully tackled 500+ miles of Texas backroads alongside 250 fellow enthusiasts.

To get this build tour-ready in record time, Barret relied on several PBH Coyote Swap Solutions, including:

✅ 6R80 Cooler Fittings

✅ Evap Delete Plate

✅ PBH Speed Drive

Huge congrats to Barret on a killer build and a successful tour! We’re proud to be part of the journey. Thanks for choosing PBH! 🙌

This Mustang is super clean and lays down 1475rwhp with 1050 lbft of torque. Todd has built himself one impressive street car. All that power is being managed by a 6R80 with Billet internal upgrades and our transmission cooler setup. Check out the rest of th mods below:

Who doesn't love an original Teal Metallic 93 Cobra. It has become an iconic look for the Fox Body era. Nick Bournais from Long Island, NY has #1958 and it needed a Restoration and update.

He connected with MCM Motorsports Restoration and Performance to bring his Teal Cobra back to life and give it a "GT3" inspired treatment. A rotisserie restoration was put in motion where all the years of oxidation and wear were addressed. The Cobra was completely stripped down to the bones to create what you see here.

For power the original Windsor 302 was put aside and an Adam Humm built Gen 2 Coyote that is topped with a Predator Supercharger with some help from VMP Performance products. For the Accessory drive They chose the PBH Speed Drive to add power steering. A Hanlon Motorsports T56 Magnum backs the hard breathing Coyote that makes itself heard through its American Racing Headers coyote swap headers and Bassani IRS Cobra Cat Back.

We mentioned the IRS so you would expect to see an 99-04 take out, but MCM went with the latest from Ridetech suspension. They offer an all new rear IRS for the Fox Chassis crowd which is a complete drop in using the latest center section from the S550 variants. The front suspension is a Maximum Motorsports Kmember holding the Coyote in place and the Ridetech SLA(Short/Long Arm) front suspension bolted right to it.

A majority of the work was performed in a 2 car garage with a two post lift only being utilized to remove the oem engine at the beginning of the project. JTs Collision and Repair laid down the fresh Teal once the complete chassis was media blasted, rust repairs completed, epoxied, and primed. The complete assembly and modifications were completed like most of us, in the confines of a home garage. A testament to what is possible in our homesteads.

We want to thank Nick and the team at MCM Motorsports Restoration and PerformanceMCM Motorsports Restoration and Performance for choosing PBH for their Coyote Swap Solutions. This build came out very nice and we hope to see it soon.
