It's summer! And we see nothing but blue skies, calm seas, and sailfish! Stuart, Fl is notorious for its summertime sailfishery, and what makes it even better is getting the opportunity to catch them on bay boats and skiffs! The Team ~
Meet Savannah Curry, Marine Connex's Chief Marketing Officer! Savannah is a Senior at the University of Florida studying Telecommunication on the track of Media and Society. Savannah, like Aiden, grew up in Stuart, Florida, where she grew up on the water finding her passion for the ocean and wildlife. Since going to college, Savanah has enriched herself in all the great opportunities UF offers. As a freshman, she joined an organization called The Agency @ UF. The Agency is a professional, student-led communications agency that works with real clients allowing students to get real hands-on experience. Her hard work has been recognized as she will interning in the summer of 2022 at Carrier's global headquarters in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. In this role, she will be working within the Marketing and Communication department for Carrier's global, $4B Refrigeration business that helps preserve and protect food and medicine! We are so proud of her and know she will continue to do great things.

It was honor to get to attend TCU Ventures and values business plan competition. Out of nearly 200+ ventures that applied internationally, Marine Connex was able to attend as a finalist! This is one of the most prestigious undergrad competition out there, so believe us we are incredibly humbled to attend the event and represent FAU! Unfortunately we did not get the outcome we were hoping for, however that isn’t to say we received some amazing feedback and learned more then we can imagine. As always we are so excited for what the future holds with Marine Connex!

The Team ~
Meet Bill Natalie, Marine Connex’s C.O.O. and father of the C.E.O. - Aiden Natalie. This family of boaters first started when Bill was a child and his father, Aiden’s grandfather, put Bill on the water at a very young age, and Bill never left.

Bill graduated from Adelphi University in 1991, landed his first post-college job at a software I.T. consulting firm, and weeks after starting this new career, purchased his first boat at 21! Bill’s passion wasn’t limited to boating; he carried that same drive to be on the water into his career, where he led the technical and business vision of the software solution contractERP. Companies are now using an ERP business software application all throughout North America.

In the late spring of 2020, while the COVID pandemic was taking hold of the world, Bill was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer. He was deemed inoperable and not given encouraging odds that he would survive. Bill would not accept that outcome and was determined to fight his way to a place that would enable him to have surgery to remove the tumor on his pancreas. After six months of intense chemo, Bill’s tumor shrunk enough that he could have the tumor removed! The surgery, which took place in March 2021, was successful and gave Bill another lease on life. However, pancreatic cancer is a challenging Cancer and returned in his liver. Bill once again said, “not me, this isn’t going to take me,” and after another round of chemo, he recently was declared N.E.D. (No Evidence of Disease)! Bill believes in making the most of his life and giving to all those he can help through his life experiences – the good, the bad, and the difficult. Sharing these life experiences to help others is Bill’s driving force.
