had to clean up a Hurricane!
A single step of Diminishing abrasive compound left this boat with more gloss and finished out well, the goal here was to “clean it up” make it look better.
I think those results were achieved here!

I guess this is a one year only color and im quite surprised because its a very nice color on this truck!
But…. Had to break out the rotary polisher on this job (no DA used) a lot of people say you cant finish out on a rotary without holograms (i was one of them until i researched and practiced) but here we are with a hologram free finish and a very shiny Tacoma!

Some before shots of the tacoma i worked on from saturday! The hood was beyond saving needs a repaint. A lot of crazing & crows foot. The rest of the Tacoma out great though! After pics in the next post….

A decontamination wash is designed to remove embedded contaminants from your vehicle’s paint that a regular wash can’t. Things like brake dust, industrial fallout, road tar, tree sap, iron particles, and other bonded contaminants can stick to the surface over time.

The purpose of a decontamination wash is to safely strip away these contaminants, leaving the paint smooth, clean, and ready for polishing, waxing, ceramic coating, or paint correction. If these contaminants aren’t removed first, they can interfere with the finish, reduce the effectiveness of protective products, and even cause scratches during polishing.

This step is all about creating the cleanest possible surface so the final results look better, last longer, and protect your vehicle the way they’re supposed to.
