We havent posted in a build in a while but this one deserves some attention. Sold this customer on a heads cam setup that should beat all the normal heads cam stock bottom end builds being built these days, and after great attempt wasnt living up to what i had promised him making around 613hp and 512tq which was normal heads cam numbers. After talking with the cam manufacture and head company we realized the compression wasn’t what we needed to get the results we were looking for so we pulled the heads back off and sent them out to be cut to raise compression to what we were shooting for 12:1 and were going to re**rd camshaft to get piston to valve clearances correct however that wasn’t possible without flycutting the pistons and customer and i both didn’t want to do that and disrupt the structural integrity of the stock ls7 pistons so i drove to race proven motorsports and picked up one of their b3 camshafts knowing it was enough smaller of a camshaft and was hoping that we could get the clearances needed with some re**rding of camshaft. We just got what we were looking for and assembled it. After some tuning we finally got the numbers we were looking for and made 666hp and 519tq on pump gas 93 octane. Turned out to be what we were shooting for and next round of mods when customer wants to do it will be a fore fuel system and flexfuel setup for more gains on stock bottom end. Frankenstein Engine Dynamics LLC for the billet intake,and the F710 heads Race Proven Motorsports for the B3 camshaft and Stainless Works for their 2” headers. The setup is absolutely the fastest n/a sbe ls7 ive ever driven

Heads cam c6Z06 we just finished up, stock car with intake and borla exhaust when it came in, made 480hp 461tq we installed Stainless Works 1 7/8 headers, Ho**er Headers black heart axleback thanks to Race Proven Motorsports for the B3 camshaft, and Frankenstein Engine Dynamics LLC stock casting cylinder heads, stock intake with a in house ported stock throttle body, variram intake stock clutch, made 602hp and 528tq
