TODAY IS THE DAY!!
🎆 It's America's 250th and we are SO excited to celebrate with you!
Parade kicks off at 10 — come early to grab your spot, and stick around after for even more fun all day long! Come back this evening for the FREE street dance featuring DEK of Hearts. We cannot wait to celebrate with you!
🎇 Saturday, July 4
🕗 8 AM – Concession and Craft Booths Open – Marshfield Square
🕘 9 AM–2 PM – Webster County Museum Open (Free Admission)
🕘 9 AM – Lineup for the 147th Marshfield Independence Day Parade (same lineup as last year) – Preregistration for parade entries through the Marshfield Area Chamber of Commerce
🕙 10 AM – 147th Independence Day Parade begins – Ribbon Cutting at the corner of Locust and East Washington
🇺🇸 Immediately following the parade – Welcome, patriotic music, greetings from Webster County mayors and dignitaries, reading of the Declaration of Independence, followed by the 3rd Annual Watermelon Eating Contest 🍉
🕝 2:30 PM – Beard Judging on the west side of the courthouse; announcement of Window Decorating Contest and other 250th contest winners
🕝 2:30 PM – Children's Games on the east side of the courthouse
🕞 3:30 PM – Turtle Race for all ages on the east side of the courthouse 🐢
💃 7–9 PM – FREE Street Dance on the east side of the courthouse
🎆 7 PM – Webster County Fair & Fireworks (Demolition Derby)
