Slide Society Drifting Skid race at the finest circle tracks in WI. Established in 2009. This is a great group for people just learning how to drift and for experienced drifters.

Slide Society has been established since 2009, previously known as Columbus 151 Speedway Drifters. We started off with a handful of guys meeting up every week on Thursday, now we are the LARGEST drift association in WI and have the best circle tracks in the area available to us. The mission of Slide Society is to make friends and have fun, create our very own society for drifters at least one day a month during the drift season.

Hey guys, our homie Angel Abaunza is in the hospital right now and could really use some good vibes. I'm not sure of the details, just please respect that and show him some love and support. If anybody has any media of his black FD from over the weekend I know he would appreciate it.

This past weekend, history was made. From the bottom of my heart I want to thank everyone that came out and partied with us. Hopefully next year we will be doing it all over again.
We did have a couple snags, the RC drifting unfortunately did not happen, my guy that sets up the track had something come up last minute, in the future we will definitely have a back up plan because there is a really great spot to do it and it just adds to the experience. The competition did not happen mostly due to nobody signing up, but thay was actually a blessing in disguise. From now on we will only hold a competition at Jefferson Speedway if it is a designated day to do so. At a bare minimum a top 16 takes up an hour of track time for 16 people. That being said, we will be restructuring events next season to accommodate the driver count. On the event flyer we also weren't as detailed with the track times as we were in the Facebook event. This is a Facebook based business and we've been slowly adapting to a world that doesn't rely on facebook like it used to, in the future we will be cramming as much detail in any flyer that we produce, so I apologize for any confusion that was had.
And now for the exciting part. The event was called Wisco Drift Night which was a play on the Headliner bands song Wisco B**R Night. Unfortunately Thrash Bash (which is an awesome name) had already been taken by Club Loose which coincidentally hosted their Thrash Bash in Ohio that very same weekend even though to my knowledge they had 0 Thrash metal bands. Either way, we didn't get to drive under the lights over the weekend which was a bummer, which leads me to this

ATTENTION!!!!!!

Due to rain over the weekend our season closer OCTOBER 11 has been cancelled due to a race getting changed to that weekend. Treat the event this upcoming weekend as our season closer. We do have a tentative date in November, but that leaves October wide open. We will have everything ironed out after this weekend but again, treat this awesome two day drift event as a party to celebrate what a wonderful season we all had so far!
