Slide Society Drifting

Slide Society Drifting Skid race at the finest circle tracks in WI. Established in 2009. This is a great group for people just learning how to drift and for experienced drifters.

Slide Society has been established since 2009, previously known as Columbus 151 Speedway Drifters. We started off with a handful of guys meeting up every week on Thursday, now we are the LARGEST drift association in WI and have the best circle tracks in the area available to us. The mission of Slide Society is to make friends and have fun, create our very own society for drifters at least one day a month during the drift season.

Hello All,

I apologize for the event cancelation of Slide Society Drift Day 106 CANCELED. In the 17 years of hosting events, I can count on one hand the number of events we have canceled. The infield of Dells Raceway Park floods whenever it rains and it creates the most unideal track conditions. We got were pounded last night and we have more of that plus thunderstorms and other inclement weather on its way. Yesterday it was only supposed to rain for a few hours in the morning and now it will be doing so all day. We were offered an opportunity to come back some time later this year and we will be working a day out with the owner to possibly drive here later this year. Thank you to everyone that pushed to get cars ready for this event and thank you to Dells Raceway Park for their efforts to get the track ready for us.

For everyone that is in the Dells right now, we will be having a group of people going to Paul Bunyans this morning for breakfast it would be great to get a group together. Time yet to be determined, it'll be a bit slower of a morning since we don't have to set up the track

ANNOUNCEMENT

Chris Hill was just as surprised as we were about the situation and it has been handled. WE ARE NOW ALLOWED RIDE ALONGS FOR SUNDAY. There is the Burnout/Auto X competition event they have going on Saturday thay DOES NOT ALLOW RIDE ALONGS.
I will be showing up tomorrow with my untuned car and doing what I can. They do have 14 camping spaces up for grabs in their lot for $25 a space so feel free to camp there with me!
Lets have a blast this weekend!
