Sometimes you don’t get the prize. I had a gentleman come in and wanted some hood scratches removed and two little dings on his trunk hatch touched up with paint.

He left his BMW with me this morning for the service. I got his hood looking wonderful with all the scratches removed. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to get the two dings touched up satisfactory. This was, in part due to the paint not matching the original color (it dried darker). Unfortunate to be sure and it took me a while to come to the conclusion that it wasn’t the work that was faulty but rather the paint.

I called the customer and let him know the situation and that his car was ready to be picked up…and there would be no charge. Was that smart on my part? Maybe not. I did perform work that would’ve been good to go if things were different. However, I was raised to do right by people and in my mind, I cannot, in good faith charge for work that wasn’t done as requested, even if it was no fault of my own. To the customers credit, he did offer me some cash for the hood work but I refused. What would you have done in this situation?

Even though the fig trees have no blossoms,
and there are no grapes on the vines;
even though the olive crop fails,
and the fields lie empty and barren;
even though the flocks die in the fields,
and the cattle barns are empty,
yet I will rejoice in the LORD!

I will be joyful in the God of my salvation!
The Sovereign LORD is my strength!
He makes me as surefooted as a deer,fn
able to tread upon the heights.

Yall see that weird looking spot just in front of the passenger side wheel? Yeah, someone tried to “polish out” a scratch using a rotary polisher and they obviously had no idea what they were doing because they left a whole punch of micro marring so now the spot looks worse than it began. This person doesn’t know how to finish down paint so that it looks smooth as glass and the worst part is, this truck is parked right behind my shop! If I see the owner, ima tell him, “I know a guy that can fix that…”

Appreciate the continued trust and business from my good friend Joe Westbury at Sherrell-Westbury Funeral Home for the opportunity to keep his vehicles looking crisp for grieving families and that this place shows their care and concern above and beyond what many would.

Another one looking right! Thanks Jacob Pinder for reaching out about your truck. She came in with some scratches he desperately wanted removed so we went to work on it. Took a little time but we were able to make them disappear! Gave her a quick wash to boot and this 2021 Sierra is ready to go!

One of my clients scheduled a maintenance wash on her Ford Edge that I ceramic coated a couple of years ago.

Ms. Cheryl is 75 years young and wanted to get in there and help me wash so I let her have at it! I told her that I may be calling her up one day when I need a great assistant because she took instruction well and performed flawlessly! Great job!!!

Forgot to post the the other day when Nick picked up his car but here she is in all her glorious beauty and a nice sounding growl at the end!
Truly honored and grateful for the continued trust people place in me to beautify and protect their vehicles. You should be next!
