Customer's concern was a "Coolant Leak, possibly a Hose Clamp?" At first appearances, it looked like a high probability it was indeed a clamp leaking. Upon closer inspection, it was verified to be the "Plastic Coolant Connector" that the Radiator Hose was connected to. It was found to be cracked and leaking coolant (See correlating pics). Existing coolant was drained from the system and a new "Coolant Connector" installed. The vehicle, a Hyundai Tucson, was refilled, purged of air, test driven, rechecked for leaks, and returned to the Customer.

It's been quite some time since we've posted "Random Pics" of vehicles with questionable issues, but that doesn't mean we don't encounter them, Lol! That is the plus side of having a yearly Safety Inspection required by Pennsylvania. To prevent, or repair, potential safety concerns or hazards and keep your vehicle in its peak performance. Most folks can't see under their cars or trucks. They cant see through the tires to know that they might need brake work or rust repair, etc. These pics are just a sample of issues that come to us from time to time. How good is your eye? Most are easy, some might not be so easy.

PennDot has raised their "cost of certificates of inspection". Their fee of $11.00 is now adjusted to $12.00. To all B.A. Automotive customers, effective July 1st, this will in turn add $1(plus tax) to the costs of PA. State Safety Inspections. B.A. Auto inspection fee is currently $22.00 (for passenger cars and light duty trucks), and $36.00 (for 3/4 ton trucks and heavier). These fees have remained unchanged for many years and will continue so long as the economy permits. So when you see a slight increase of now $1.06 (tax) for your sticker fee, after your inspections, know that it is coming from the State of Pa. and not B.A. Auto. This fee increase will be posted at B.A. Automotive LLC as required by Pa. State Law. Thank you for your patronage!

Customers complaint was "No Start Intermittently - Starter Clicks" and "Check Engine Light came on then went off". A scan of the vehicle revealed Knock Sensor codes, but we couldn't duplicate the "No Start". After several days of starting, we were finally able to reproduce the "Clicks" and determined that the starter needed replacement.
