We'll be back working on customer vehicles tomorrow. Another full week ahead of us. Today I'm taking some much needed time to do a little spring cleaning in the shop that started it all. The original OTG. My cars needs attention too. 😆 Plans for both are as follows. The 72 has a brand new 502 Big Block built by Ben Adams, 550hp, 600ft lbs torque, backed by a TH400, with a 12 bolt posi. I have a bucket seat center console interior, SS dash, 4 wheel disc brake set up. All need to be installed. Body is ready for a repaint. The 69 GTO is a 400 3spd car. Motor is rebuilt. Needs to be pulled and painted, new carb and intake. Then drive for now. We can do sheetmetal work later. Just a little teaser as to what I'm up to with my cars. More to come.

I get a lot of questions about what's going on with the Stephen location. I'll keep it simple. Whats going on is that we needed another location to meet the demands. My recent expansion to our Warren location is a business move. A move that now allows us the space to be more efficient in both lanes. Stephen is now primarily where we are doing classic car body work, glass, and still here for those collision estimates and scheduling. Warren is now our full time collision shop location.
In the meantime, here in Stephen, the guys are working on those classic projects that have been stalled. This 78 Ford has been taking up real estate in the shop and now being assembled so the owner can take it over from there. We have a shop full, so stay tuned as we chip away.

This 2012 Raptor is headed home. Another 🦌 hit!! As soon as I popped the hood, pieces just fell off the truck. We also did some passenger side repair work while it was here.

2017 Chevy is good to go. Only hiccup we had was with an aftermarket front bumper not being what we expected. Instead of a factory style one piece, this one came in 2. Some insurance companies dont wanna pay for OEM parts to repair the vehicle, so once in a while something like this happens. We swapped it out with a GM bumper and made it right with the customer. Oh, and I'll make sure the masking paper looks better next time. 😆

Wondering what we've been up to in Humboldt? How about some office renovations. Ryan did a great job transforming this space. We're just about ready to do estimates and scheduling out of this office. Just a few things left. Maybe some furniture, some old car parts, wall art, etc. We'll be up this week doing glass, stop in if ya see us.

Paint booth face lift underway in our Stephen shop!! I've been spraying cars, trucks, parts, you name it, in here for years. I knew it was kinda dungeonous, but it worked and I kept going. Only one coat into it and wow what a difference. We've got a shop full of projects waiting their turn to get in here. I can't wait till it's done so I can shoot something. Nice work Wyatt Welin. 😁
