For new riders seeking a motorcycle license, we offer the three-day Basic Rider Course during summer weekends. We
take you from the very basics to actually riding one of our motorcycles, teaching even the most inexperienced students how to be safe and proficient road warriors. This is also the best place for re-entering or experienced riders who want to improve their stopping, maneuvering, shifting, etc. Participants successfully completing the written and riding requirements of the course will be issued a card enabling them to add a Motorcycle Endorsement to their Colorado Driver License, making them legal for the road. Most insurance companies offer a significant discount to riders who complete the course. Best of all it's fun, and admit it...you've always wanted to ride! WEEKLY TESTING
For already experienced and capable riders, SGMTT also provides weekly motorcycle license testing during the summer season, which does not include the weekend class. If participants pass the riding exam (at our course in Craig, Colorado) they will receive their Endorsement. We are the only agency offering motorcycle license testing in our region.
