The 2027 CX50FWE features new polished transmission gears designed to:

⚙️ Reduce friction
⚙️ Improve engagement
⚙️ Increase overall durability

The gears shown in the back are the previous, non-polished version. The difference can be tough to see in a photo, but in person, you can definitely see and feel the difference.

Another small but meaningful update to the 2027 CX50FWE.

The 2027 Cobra CX65 comes with a newly designed clutch master cylinder and lever assembly. This updated master cylinder will also serve as the OEM replacement for previous-model CX65s.

While the new OEM assembly is a direct replacement, we found that the supplied lever requires more finger reach and pull. The lever’s shape also leaves less room between the grip and lever, which can make it harder for smaller hands to comfortably get their fingers on the clutch.

The ARC lever features a different lever profile for a more comfortable reach.
