It is with a heavy heart that I must pass on the news that Carl Tompkins Sr passed away in his sleep last night. Carl was the founder of Fabrifoil which was one of companies that merged to form Car-Mel in 2009.

Although he was retired Carl would stop by frequently to see what was happening at the plant. He was always insightful and happy to help with anything that needed to be done. He took great delight in the success of the company.

He will be missed.
