When you get a quote, and the contractor says they do one day polyaspartic floors, just remember this picture. Polyaspartic as a base does not bond correctly to the concrete, you need a correct epoxy/MVB as a base when getting that type of coating. Sure polyaspartic is great for top coats but not for base coats. That’s just contractors trying to make a quick buck with getting in and out. Do it right the first time and you won’t have to worry about a second job. Sadly this owner didn’t know the difference, but I’m here to educate the next person.
