I might be the only person on the planet with two factory prototype Rekluse Auto Clutches for the 1982-87 Husqvarna.

Oddly enough I’m not such a fan of the auto clutch on the old bike. So I’m going to part with them if anyone is interested.

Through a tip from a friend I found this 1966 Husky. It’s all there except for a tank. It has a 19” Akront front rim and Trelleborg tire, a unique cable holder welded on the down tube and maybe tell tale upgrade is Torsten Hallman aftermarket shock springs. Another unique thing is the frame and motor number #248 and #273 don’t match. Hodes this bike ring a bell to anyone?

Here’s the News! I have been working on this for a while…

Confirmed For 2024.

I’m proud to announce The Husky Championships event for this year will be held in conjunction with the Boise Inter-Am Motocross event that is on April 19-21, 2024.

This has been in the works for a bit, and formally finalize the 2024 details.

There will be 3 classes per day.
Two motos per class.

Classes for Boise 2024 are:

HC “Vintage” Husky’s 1974 and Older.

HC “Trans-AM” Husky’s 1975-1978

HC “Evolution” Husky’s 1979-1983

Two days of racing.
12 total “Husky only” motos.

Skill level and Age groups?
We will be racing ONLY by skill level.

OMC offers 40 gates, 20 per side of start house.

We will split each race with
(for example)

“Vintage” Expert and Intermediate on one side. Novice and Beginner on other side.

First Gate drop for “Vintage” Expert and Intermediate.

These Racers safely exit first turn:

Second Gate then drops for “Vintage” Novice and Beginner on the other side.

There will be Trophy’s for the top riders per each class, Beginner, Novice, Intermediate, Expert.
There will be awards recognizing the top 40+, 50+, 60+ and 70+ year old racers.

I’m considering a class for those that race all 12-motos.
Riders competing on apropriate category bike per class. (3 different bikes)

Vintage
Trans-Am
Evolution

Who’s in?

OMC Gates will be open Thursday 12:Noon for overnight parking

There will be a paid Practice Friday from 10am-1pm

There will be a special announcement for a Friday OMC event (stay tuned) to Boise Vintage Inter-am page.

There will be a Husky Championships “HC” Friday afternoon Bike show and gathering. Special guest judging the show will be Mr Gunnar Lindstrom.

There are other Legendary Husqvarna racers that have confirmed to attend and racing. I will be sharing that info with you soon.

On a personal note:
Taking the lead for this event is a lot of work which is perfectly fine. I’m doing so because in talking to so many of you we need an event to bring us together. We are less than 4 months out, We will walk before we run, run before we sprint but the Boise event is a wonderfully run event to partner with.

I welcome your input and we will evolve as a group.

Thank you for supporting the Husky Championships!

Dust off your Husky’s!!!

I have been very fortunate to have been selected by the Folks boys to find new homes for the Casey Folks Husqvarna collection. All the parts on these bikes were restored by John Lefevre and some bikes completely restored by John or some were assembled by Casey.
They are beautifully restored. Message me for prices!

Casey Folks loved motorcycles. He loved racing, he loved the desert and more than anything he loved his Husqvarnas. In his years as the owner of Sportsman
