I had something happen to me a couple days ago that scared me to death. I took Mom home from work ,proceeded out of her driveway I looked left ,then right and pulled out on the road I normally drive slow unless I am going on a call so I say I was going around 25mph ,I get to Roy Smith's house and I hear something in the distance ,I make it to Timmy's house and the noise is getting closer ,😀and do not see anything so I turn my turnsignal on to go to Morris Lane ,the distance from Mom's driveway to Morris Lane is less than 1/4 mile I look again to see the noise and didn't see anything so I pull onto Morris Lane and all hell breaks loose ,this noise was so intense I thought I run over somebody ,I looked left ,I looked right ,I looked down still nothing I couldn't figure it out and about that time I realized what was going on the noise was coming from above me I looked up and it was a Army Chopper hovering over me ,I thought it was going to crash into me so I stomp down on the gas to get away from it and I only find it it was circling around me like a hawk hunting his prey ,where I went it went circling over me just above the tree line , it was playing cat and mouse with me ,I stopped again and it started circling me again so I stomped on the petal once again to try to get away from it ,I guess the thrill of scaring me to death wore off and finally they left ,but not without me shaking in my boots ,I pulled in the dricveway just shaking ,I fail to see the humor in what they did to me and I am not mad anymore but I still can not understand what they thought they were doing bad things can happen and happen quick from someone driving and making a mistake trying to get away to the pilot of the chopper misjudging something ,it could have been catastrophic but luckily it did not ,I was trembling all over when I entered my house and I guess so long as they got their jollies I guess I am good

Well we had a customer come in a few minutes ago and after I pumped her gas she asked me if we had some Dorritos in the office she could buy because she was hungry ,I told her we didn't and she explained to me she sure was hungry and what some chips or a bologna sandwich , I said well I can fix you up on that bologna sandwich if she wanted one ,she said really how much do ya'll get on your all's sandwiches ? I told her we didn't sell them but I would fix her up one in a jiffy she hollered at me when I was walking away put some mayoinase on that please and make it heavy ,so that's exactly what I did ,10$ worth of gas and a free bologna sammich heavy on the mayo coming right up , done this a bunch of times from fried egg sandwiches to free dozen eggs , to anything in between and now I have a cousin that's asking every customer that comes in if they want a free sammich ,says he going to hang a sign up outside when I close tonight ,no purchase necessary come and get one while supplies last haha

I want to give a big shout out and thank you to Eddie Sowers ,when I came to work this morning he had my parking lot cleared and ready to go ,the 2 of us go way back all the way to our childhood ,anyone needing snow removal or this spring needing your driveway sealed or paved give him a call at 606-669-1117,he has been in this line of business since we were kids learning from his Dad and comes highly recommended,thanks again Eddie

I hope everyone got their fill on turkey ,ham and all them delicious sides that goes along with Thanksgiving and all the good times with Family and Friends that the day brings and I don't want to cut the holiday short but we did want to make a announcement ,the annual Christmas Snow Queen Parade is coming up on Dec.2nd at 6pm , my entire Family and extended Family is super excited to announce we will be handing out Hot Chocolate, Treats,if available Pizzas ,Waters ,and everything in between ,weather permitting we will sit out some chairs for those who can't stand a long time , we have contacted the Lincoln County Chamber of Commerce and talked with the chamber President Andrea Miller and she said she would extend the Parade Route to us ,any questions on that we encourage you to contact her for more info ,we will of course have our restrooms available for everyone ,our menu is still in the works and as it gets closer to the time we will update everyone ,my Mom and myself and my Family can't wait to see everyone smile and enjoy themselves at the Parade ,everyone is welcome to share this and make this a huge success ,thank you
