Polly's new laminated iroko keel is installed. Planking is progressing at a rate of 200 linear feet per week! That's one full length layer of cedar and one full length layer of mahogany per side.

Polly was lifted off of her ballast keel last Thursday. Roughly 16000 lbs of ballast and deadwood was rolled out from under her, then the deadwood was removed from the ballast. We are beginning work on the structural keel

Fairing frames on Polly. Polly is a 55 foot Nevins sloop that is undergoing restoration. When the frames are faired, her keel will be replaced. We expect to launch in October.
