For many truck drivers, Dolly Parton's music was part of the journey.

Her songs filled the cab through early morning starts, long nights on the interstate, and the miles between home and the next stop. She sang about hard work, resilience, family, and finding hope, themes that resonated with generations of drivers.

Her voice became part of the soundtrack to life on the road, and her impact reached far beyond country music.

There’s a giant hole down the road…
And while we’re great at covering just about anything,

Good news: we’re still open, still easy to reach (with a detour), and still here to help!

ST. LOUIS- MoDOT is monitoring the situation regarding a sinkhole that developed on North Broadway under Interstate 44 in the City of St. Louis.

The sinkhole has exposed bridge footings on the I-44 bridges over Broadway.

For precautionary measures, MoDOT is in the process of closing the following Saturday night, June 13:

• I-44 westbound/I-70 eastbound will be shut down at Tucker Boulevard/ Stan Musial Veterans Memorial Bridge.

• I-44 eastbound/I-55 northbound will be shut down at the Poplar Street Bridge and includes the ramps from I-64 westbound/Poplar Street Bridge to Walnut and I-44 eastbound.

• Eastbound I-70 express lanes will be closed at Union Boulevard.

•South Broadway at Cass Avenue closed.

•From Illinois, westbound I-64/Walnut Street exit and I-44 eastbound ramp closed.

MoDOT crews will continue to assess potential impacts to I-44 and I-70 in the City of St.Louis.
