New issue finally out today!
Delayed an additional week for the *stupidest* reasons imaginable -
I had to go to THREE different post offices to find "additional Oz" stamps..
Then when I tried to mail them out finally...THERE WEREN'T ANY MAILBOXES AT THE POST OFFICE!!??? (Outside, after hours)
What the literal Fck!?

After *7 weeks* in the body shop for a light sideswipe accident, I FINALLY have the Buzz back and can put on all my TerraWagen goodies that have been lying in the shop for months.
Slider door sills, rear bumper guard, and "buffeting deflectors".
Installation was simple, hardest part was keeping dog hair out of the sticky tape 😆

The South Africa doublecab got some love this past weekend. Ever since we got it, it was difficult to fill the tank. Had to go very slow. Lately however, it became nigh impossible with more spilling out than going in. Some investigation was in order.

I pulled the access panels off and uh.... that ain't right.
Found that someone had hacked off the OEM filler neck, used a piece of what looks like a splitty filler neck, a peice of radiator hose jammed into it, and the old VW cloth braided coupler from a Type 1.

I made a hail mary trip to a local NAPA where they let me go in back and browse the hose section and I grabbed a couple of items I thought I could make work.

Plan #1 trying to incorporate the cut piece of filler neck and the old cloth coupler failed. Luckily just using the straight filler hose worked, despite discovering that the cut end at the gas door is smaller than the tank inlet - 50mm vs 55mm. That hose clamp is doing some overtime. Might go back and double-clamp it.
But, the important thing... it actually worked! I was able to easily and completely fill the dcab tank for the 1st time, ever!

Forgot to update this one..
Andy got his ZacRack custom full length roof rack on, complete with a cut out for the sunroof!
Speaking of, I've never even seen complete Bay sunroof fully restored with all the seals. Didn't know they were even supposed to have that felt seal in there.

Andrew and Mario had another productive weekend at das Bushaus.. got his side vent wings and windows in, and the windshield successfully installed without breaking!
It's almost unnerving to see a Bay with such a clear windshield LOL.
