Exhaust manifold replacement. All new hardware and gaskets on a 2015 Subaru.

A common failure on these cars, the intricate exhaust design on the Subaru boxer engine has a lot of welded seams. One had cracked open making this sound a little more 'aggressive' than we liked.
Now she has her manners back and should behave for another 100K+

Unpopular opinion: High mileage is a really good thing!!!

This is my car. 2011 Ford V6 with 239,### miles getting 21.9 mpg.

I got this car after my accident back in March.
I got it with a 'Christmas tree' dashboard and have one by one been addressing the issues, some big, some small and adding some of "ME" to it along the way. Now, not a single light on the dash.

Today I would drive this car absolutely anywhere with ZERO hesitation. I got lucky that it was taken care of before me... but my expertise has brought it the rest of the way.

As a mechanic, mileage is just a timeline, a 'meter' by which we can gauge what the machine needs.
Seeing big mileage numbers means that no one has neglected those needs.

Listen... for your car to run AT ALL a lot of things have to be "RIGHT"
So don't let mileage numbers scare you... it got that far because it was taken care of... not because it is just an old piece of junk.

It's been a long winter... you probably havent popped the hood in months. It was cold. Getting out long enough to pump gas was enough.
But Spring is here. The sun is out. It is time to tune things up.
Those cold temps and salty winter roads will take their toll on your battery too! Corrosion, leaking battery acid, poor connections can all cause problems with reliability.

Literally nothing works on your car without it. Ensuring the battery is "healthy", charging properly and connected securely can PREVENT a lot of issues with your car.
