09/01/2026

We are asking Ride-to-Remember participants to join us this Sunday, 09/06 to honor Fallen Hartford PD Officer Bobby Garten. It’s the 3rd anniversary of his End-of-Watch.

They are renaming High Street, where the Hartford PD is located to “Bobby’s Way”. There will be a solemn ceremony at 10 AM at the Hartford PD, 253 High Street, Hartford.

We will show our support by riding up on bicycles, while wearing our R2R jersey’s.

Let’s meet in the rear parking lot of the Hartford Capitol Building, 210 Capitol Avenue, Hartford, CT. at 9:00 am. We will pedal about a mile to the PD right before the ceremony.

The Hartford PD Patrolman’s Union has purchased lunch for all riders and support crew the last three years. They have embraced the R2R and over 20 Hartford Officers are taking part in the ride again.

Let’s show them we appreciate what they do. I’m hoping for a large turnout of riders. You’ll be home by 11 am. Or if some want, we can ride part of this years R2R route in CT.

Let’s do this!!! See you this Sunday!!
