Truck body specification starts with payload, duty cycle and the equipment being integrated — not the chassis.

We installed dump, flatbed, platform, gooseneck, mechanic and service bodies from Knapheide, Dakota and Brand FX.
Applications include landscaping, construction, moving and delivery, plumbing and HVAC service, rental businesses and food service.

Each configuration is specified against how the truck operates: load weight and distribution, storage and access requirements, and the auxiliary equipment mounted at upfit. Getting those inputs right at the quote stage is what determines whether the body performs over its service life.

Three liftgate configurations, three different sets of tradeoffs.

Hydraulic cantilever gates offer straightforward operation with few moving parts and broad compatibility across body types. The platform mounts off the rear of the truck, which consumes rear clearance and can affect departure angle on certain bodies.

Railgates ride a track mounted to the truck frame and stow fully under the bed, delivering a flush, full-height platform for pallet jacks and wheeled equipment. Higher load capacity and larger platforms, with more complex mounting and a higher initial investment.

Tuckaway gates fold and stow beneath the bed, leaving the rear of the truck unobstructed for dock work and rear-door access. Platform size is typically more limited than a full railgate.

Selection comes down to load weight, body style and duty cycle.
