WAY BACK WEDNESDAY!!!

There’s just something about an old-school import that still gets me, and this ’88 Supra is definitely hitting the spot!!! This car is ridiculously clean for its age!!!

The customer was after a 4” turbo-back exhaust, so we machined a fl**ge for the factory CT26 turbocharger and O2 sensor, then fabricated a 90-degree transition from the odd-shaped outlet to 4” round, with a V-band assembly on the end.

Making this transition as short as possible will allow for the future turbocharger and manifold upgrades he has planned without having to modify the downpipe or exhaust.

We routed the 4” tube under the car, tucking it up nice and tight, then routed it to the rear and finished it off with a Burns Stainless muffler.

While the car was here, he also wanted to replace the intercooler tube that runs over the engine to accommodate his TiAL Sport blow-off valve.

We also machined an adapter to allow him to run his 4” cone filter on the MAF.

Some may ask, “Why machine that when you could just weld something up?”

Well…

A: We could efficiently draw, program, and machine this faster than cutting a fl**ge, hammering a tube around it, and welding it up.

And B: It’s just cool. 😎

The customer had purchased a set of imported test pipes, unsure of the brand, but after fighting leaks, fitment issues, and just overall poor quality he reached out to get a set of ours installed. Man now this is a cool one!!!!

2 owner (mother/daughter)California car!!!

Came in to get a dakota_digital guage cluster installed and some wiring cleaned up. Car has a nice little 383 from Heinleins Machine, 4l60e trans, and a Holley terminator efi setup on it. The intake had recently been off so we verified timing and then took it out for a cruise to calibrate the speedo and verify the function of the rest of the cluster. After a few quick adjustments on the transmission tune and some drivability stuff this thing is all set for smiles per mile!!! We love these old survivor cars!!

A clients daughter needed the seat in her new Bronco raised a little more than the built in adjustment would allow, so we machined some aluminum spacers to give it another 1.5” of lift! Designed with locating dowels on the bottom, a receiver on the top for the male stud on the seat, and contoured to fit the floor they almost disappear once installed!!! A quick fix to make this young driver see better, more comfortable and safer on the road!!

Customer reached out about having us machine some mounts for his kickeraudio speakers for his boat. Although they were originally designed to be mounted on a tube wakeboard rack, he had an overhead flat panel he wanted to install them on. Couple of sketches later and 2 chunks of drop alum we made a bunch of chips and turned it into something cool! Fully functional, ecstatically pleasing and one of a kind!

🔥 C6 CORVETTE TORQUE TUBE — CUSTOM LENGTHENING 🔥

Another Corvette torque tube in the shop—this time, a C6 getting some additional length.

We added 13.5 inches to the torque tube housing and prop shaft, then professionally rebalanced the assembly to ensure everything is ready to perform properly.

This isn’t a simple cut-and-weld job. The process included:

🔹 Rough cutting the original ends
🔹 CNC machining to precisely remove the original tube
🔹 Facing everything to the exact required depth
🔹 Precision chamfering for proper fitment and welding
🔹 Extending the housing and prop shaft 13.5”
🔹 Rebalancing the completed prop shaft
