I usually catch her shuttle around 6 PM, and she is truly the BEST! She is kind, funny, dependable, and always greets her passengers with a beautiful smile that can brighten anyone’s day. She steps up to make sure we’re taken care of. I genuinely appreciate her dedication and reliability!”

Jonathan Williams-Estevez and the staff at 1350 Main Street in Springfield – “Jonathan was awesome. Not only was the wait time measured in seconds, but the service was fantastic, polite and engaging. When I picked up the car the gentlemen who helped me were equally professional. FIVE STARS ACROSS THE BOARD. THANK YOU!”

Shout out to Dave Kendle at New London’s Lawrence & Memorial Hospital – “I have been an employee at L&M Hospital for the past 15 years. I would like to recognize Dave. K. He is always there when I need a ride to the hospital. He is a dedicated and hardworking man who has a passion for his profession and is professional at all times. I appreciate everything he does. Thank you Dave and thank you VPA. Outstanding professional service.”

Our Holyoke Medical team, lead by Jill Laliberte. “My wife went to the ER on Tuesday with our daughter and was very impressed with the VPA employees. They were going around the waiting room offering folks blankets, ice packets, waters, and more. They were very nice and we were very impressed.”

Our Vassar Brothers Team – “I have to report the response of VPA – Angelique Reali and Tom Casper were extraordinary and should be noted, they were quick to report and helpful through the entire Legacy Lobby Exterior (Code Urgent) event. I was very grateful for their empathy and the speed in which they reacted.”

Congrats to our September 2026 Employees of the Month, Shaina Hibert and Jennifer Niziankowicz, cornerstones of our Special Events Team in the Main Office.

They were nominated by Tim Graney - “Shaina and Jenn have been working extremely hard this year. We are setting records with the amount of transportation and events booked.

In the past year, they implemented software to take us from a paper system to an online booking CRM, implemented weekly calls with Regional Managers to improve communication and better coordinate every event. This year in Nantucket alone we did a record 100 events and charters!!!

We also added services such as the UMass Intern Shuttle, Regis College, Lasell University, RI School of Design, Bryant Stratton College, and Greenfield CC.

Additionally, behind the scenes they assist in many ways, including mailing every employee of VPA and ECV a birthday & milestone anniversary card, as well as wrapping of all the Christmas gifts,

Both come to work every day with such a positive attitude and energy that it just brings up the entire team. The drivers have all told me that they are wonderful to work with...and even Mike Chagnon is happy!!!! Lol.

It is my pleasure to work with these two ladies and to see the impact they are having on the company. Their work will be sure to keep our events and charters department growing in all regions moving forward.

The month of September is always a bear, with the 22 universities we have starting backup, and every professor and coach trying to book events this month for the semester, it is challenging to say the least. When you think of the schools you have was clients and then times that by 22 schools, they are extremely busy and organized to keep us from missing any detail.

TOMORROW - WE BRING THE MAGIC!

Please plan ahead & arrive early - we are expecting a record breaking turnout & don't want anyone to miss the race. You can avoid registration lines tomorrow by coming to our final T-shirt & bib pick up today from 4-6 PM at the Holyoke Elks.

PARKING: Parking volunteers will direct vehicles to the following lots: Holyoke Pediatrics (150 Lower Westfield Road, Holyoke) & PeoplesBank (330 Whitney Ave, Holyoke).

Parking at the Elks will be limited to our carnival logistics team, top hat sponsors and handicap vehicles ONLY this year. It is critical that no one parks in the neighborhood surrounding the Elks. Police & our awesome parking crew will be enforcing this and helping to direct traffic.

Shuttles will run to and from the Elks from 10 AM - 7:30 PM. Thank you Valet Park of America! Please carpool whenever possible and help us by respecting all neighborhoods and property.

We are starting the week out with some great feedback received last week from around our world!

Carlos Lara at Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie NY - We took a call from a nurse at VBMC MOB. She wanted to call and commend Carlos for the good work he has been putting in. She said he is exceptional, courteous, professional, and is always in a good mood. He goes above and beyond for the MOB, and he is ‘the best valet in the 6 years I’ve been here!’” Well done!

Our Saint Peters Albany Team – “My husband was a patient at St Peters from July 2026 to Aug 29, 2026. Your valets were absolutely FABULOUS!!! I was there twice a day, every day and each and every encounter was so positive. Not just with me but everyone. Your training is phenominal and I wanted to let you know how awesome these people are!”

Steve had 2 great emails, including: “On 9/22, a patient arrived with severe shortness of breath and the valet was essential to them getting to the ED promptly to receive immediate care. Good morning, all.

I’m writing with the sad news that we have lost one of our own.

Tom Legere worked as a Shuttle Driver in Worcester for about 10 years before having to step away earlier this year due to medical issues.

Tom was a valued member of our team and family, and will be sorely missed.

He passed away on Thursday, and services are being held Monday in Worcester.
