🧨 Will “The Thrill” goes BACK-TO-BACK in Cadet @ Mid-State Kart Club 🏆

🚨Cusick Morgan Victory Chain Alert 🚨

A WILD day to say the least! Practice 1 a turtle 🐢 (a real one, not the Mario kart kind) on the track caused a 5 kart pile up. Thankfully all kiddos were ok after a violent pile up, but a few kart frames are no longer with us 😞 We hope our competitors can get back on track as soon as possible. Wills kart sustained a bent front bumper bar but the kart was still fast and he set a new PB lap @ 36.50 at 53.9mph.

Will claimed his first cadet pole position but lost the lead on the start in the pre-final and finished 🥈 Winner Kevin Roberts drove a great race to keep Will behind him.

We made a gear change and started P2 in the final and 1/4 of the way through the 12 lap race Will was really pressuring the leader and they spun in the hairpin but Will locked the brakes up trying to avoid it and also spun but got going right away and gained the lead of the race. It was a good battle for a few laps and then Will stretched the gap and took the win 🏁
