Four decades ago, Lynn walked through the doors of Wendle Motors. She was just 19 years old, with no way of knowing she had joined a family … one that she would forever be part of.
Over the past 40 (technically 44😉) years, Lynn has seen new faces, new technology, new vehicles, new buildings, and a business that has grown and evolved with the times. But she’s also seen the things that matter have stayed the same.
Lynn has never forgotten how she was treated when she first started in the 1980s. Chud Wendle Sr., Dick Wendle, and the managers she worked with didn’t see a young woman entering a male-dominated industry or a single mom trying to build a career. They saw Lynn, a member of the . They supported her, encouraged her, and made her feel like she belonged. Even when belonging meant letting her leave early for an ice cream social or two. 🤭
Today, Lynn can look back on a career that has spanned all four (now five technically) generations of the Wendle family. She has worked alongside the people who built this company, watched the next generations grow into leadership, and now continues to be part of the generation carrying Wendle forward.
40 years of relationships, stories, changes, challenges, and laughter. 40 years of loyalty, dedication, and being someone we can count on.
Lynn, thank you for 40 years of showing up, growing with us, and being such an important part of what makes Wendle, Wendle. We are so proud, honored, and grateful.
