Every October, we’re reminded of the importance of , early detection, honoring survivors, remembering those we’ve lost, and supporting the continued progress being made in the fight against breast cancer.
A handful of years ago, we started wearing pink every Wednesday in October at Wendle. What started as a simple way to show our support quickly became something we didn’t want to stop doing … so now, Pink Wednesday happens every Wednesday, ALL YEAR LONG. 💗
This cause is especially close to our hearts. Members of our Wendle team have been personally affected by breast cancer and so have countless members of our extended Wendle family – our families, our friends, our customers, and so many we’ve had the privilege of knowing throughout the years.
Some are survivors.
Some are still fighting.
Some are remembering someone they love.
Wearing a pink shirt is a small thing. But for us, it’s one small way to show support, start conversations, raise awareness, honor those who have fought, remember those we’ve lost, and remind the people around us that they’re not alone.
So ever Wednesday, you will find a whole lot of pink here around Wendle. And if you want to join us this October (or any Wednesday beyond) throw on some pink and come be part of it. 💗
