Those open bays on East Sprague have seen a lot since 1999. 🚗

Gary and Joan Tolerico bought Washington Auto Collision that year, and people still pull into this building for the same reason they did back then. They need help, a clear next step, and a shop that takes the repair seriously.

That’s what this place has been for Spokane Valley drivers for a long time.

Silence is what makes a repair feel long. A customer can handle a lot better when they know what’s going on, what changed, and when their car is moving again.

That’s the part of Ashley’s review I’d keep. The updates mattered while the vehicle was here, and the finished repair felt right when she got it back. We really appreciate that.

The parts rack is where hidden damage stops being hidden. 👀

From the outside, a job can still look simple. Then teardown starts, the bumper comes off, the brackets and trim come out, and suddenly the repair story is sitting on shelves beside the car instead of hiding behind it.

That’s usually when supplements make more sense to customers. More damage was there the whole time. We just needed the car apart enough to see it.

Booth light is one thing. Daylight is the real test. ☀️

When our painter is in the booth laying down color, he’s thinking past that room. He’s thinking about how the panel is going to read outside in Spokane Valley at 2 in the afternoon, when the vehicle is back in the sun and every angle tells the truth.

That’s where good color work earns it. Clean prep, patient passes, and a finish that still looks right once it leaves the booth.

Stefany H. came in without an appointment, and Heath still made time to take care of the scratches on her car that day. 🙏

She called Washington Auto Collision a “top-shelf shop” and said the lobby was “cool, clean, and comfortable,” but the part that sticks with me is the walk-in getting real help from a real person when she needed it.

Big thanks to Stefany for the kind words, and thanks for trusting us with your vehicle.

A wheel on the floor usually means the story just got more interesting. 🔩

Once the vehicle is in the air, you get a better look at the damage that doesn’t show up well in a parking lot photo. Suspension pieces. Steering parts. The stuff behind the hit. On modern vehicles, that can also mean pulling in Autel or Opus IVS scan tools to check what the electronics are saying too.

That matters after a harder hit, and it matters after the kind of Spokane curb or wheel impact that seemed minor until the car started driving wrong.

Some cars make people slow down for a second. This one did.

That red Chevy outside our shop has the kind of presence that makes you look twice. Then once more.

Photos like this are a good reminder of why collision work feels personal for so many people. A vehicle can carry years of memory before it ever pulls into a repair bay.

That last part is the moment people wait for. You walk up to your car, look at the panel that got hit, and either your stomach drops or you smile. Julie smiled.

We’re glad she felt taken care of, and we’re glad the repair looked right when she saw it again. Thanks, Julie.

Paint day starts with tape. 🎨

Before PPG color gets mixed, the panel gets sanded, cleaned, masked, and checked around every edge that’ll show when the plastic comes off. Digimatch and MoonWalk help on the color side. The hand work is what keeps the lines clean.

You can see that stage in this photo. The car is halfway between body repair and refinish, which is exactly where a lot of quality gets built.

A lot of repair stories start with one calm person picking up the phone. 📞

That front desk moment matters more than people think. Somebody on Sprague has a cracked bumper, somebody else is staring at a backed-into door in a parking lot, and the first thing they need is a real person who can slow the whole situation down.

That’s part of shop life too. Before the estimate, before the parts order, before the repair plan, there’s a conversation that helps the day feel manageable again.
