Been a while since I’ve posted, here’s a few jobs I’ve done in the past couple months. Did an in frame rebuild on a Cummins l10, lots a carbon build up due to long idle times. Resealed the timing case on an ISX Cummins with roughly 1.3 million miles, an a neat little job on a John Deere B installed a new radiator plus sandblast a paint the cage. The old hadn’t run in over 15 years, after waking up the magneto and adding fresh gas we got spark and it fired right up

Cool build on a little 24 valve Cummins, customer wants more power so we set him up with a mild Hamilton stage 1 cam, bigger valve springs, new lifters, and bigger push rods. Also decided it was best to fire ring the block with intentions of running high boost pressure. Head gasket needed to be .010 over size to accommodate the new cam as well

Big job for Anderson Logging this past month, engine swap/overhaul. ’86 Pete 359, swapped out a 3406B for an early 3406C, the C engine only had 3 hours on an overhaul done by another shop, ran rough, 10 psi of oil pressure at idle along with scuffed liners and gouged rod/main bearings plus a valve adjustment that was far out. After polishing the crank and and installing new bearing we checked liner protrusion on the new liners and and had the head checked. New injectors and valve/Jake lash set she’s a brand new engine with 40 psi at idle and should get this old Pete another lease on life. Keep ‘em rollin
