In Ozark, we are fortunate to have many Good Samaritans who are eager to help those in need, especially when someone slides off the road. While their intentions are appreciated, stopping on or near the roadway can contribute to traffic congestion and increase the risk of accidents.

If you notice yellow tape on a vehicle, it indicates that the Ozark Police Department - Ozark, Missouri has already checked on the vehicle and its occupants. Dispatch has been notified, and no immediate assistance is needed. Please continue driving safely and allow emergency responders to handle the situation.

Since 9 am, 23 people have already learned speeding through a work zone is an expensive habit.

Seriously, folks—slow down before your wallet starts hurting more than your gas tank. The HWY 65 roadwork might be a bit annoying, but speeding through it? Definitely NOT worth the ticket. Stay safe out there!
