🛑 Heads up, drivers: Why motor oil prices are climbing globally 🛢️

​If you've noticed the price of a synthetic oil change creeping up lately, you aren't imagining it. There is a massive global shortage of Group II and III base oils—the primary ingredients used to make motor oil and high-performance synthetics.

​Due to recent shipping blockades and military conflicts in the Middle East restricting oil supply chains, major oil manufacturers (like Shell, Mobil, and Chevron) have rolled out several aggressive waves of wholesale price increases. Synthetic products have been hit the hardest, with wholesale costs rising significantly.

​As your local shop, we are doing everything we can to keep our rates fair and absorb what we can, but you will likely see oil change prices rising across the entire automotive industry right now.
