🔧 Meet Clint, R&R Technician at Advanced Transmission.

Clint plays an important role in keeping vehicles moving through our shop. As an R&R Technician, he specializes in the removal and replacement of transmissions, a job that requires attention to detail, mechanical know-how, and plenty of hands-on work.

Once a transmission has been diagnosed and is ready for repair or replacement, Clint helps handle the process of safely removing it from the vehicle and properly reinstalling it when the work is complete.
Transmission repair is a team effort, and every step matters. We’re glad to have Clint as part of the crew getting the job done at Advanced Transmission.

Due to the hurricane, we will be closed Friday, October 9th, so our team can be with their families and prepare for the storm.

For customers with vehicles at our shop, we are taking extra precautions to protect your vehicles, including moving them to safer areas of the property. We will continue monitoring the property throughout the storm as conditions allow.

We will return to our normal business hours on Monday, October 12th, from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., weather and conditions permitting.

There's a lot of transmission-industry experience and leadership under one roof at Advanced Transmission.

Crystal Shadis serves on the ATRA Board of Directors for Area 7, representing Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina and Florida. ATRA's current Board of Directors directory confirms Crystal as the Area 7 director for Advanced Transmission. https://bit.ly/4xWJNOZ

Jonathan Shadis continues to serve as President of ATRA's Gulf States Chapter, which includes Louisiana, Alabama, Mississippi and the Florida Panhandle. https://bit.ly/4xWJNOZ Jonathan has held a chapter leadership role for more than 15 years, while Crystal was elected to the Area 7 Board position in July 2026.

For us, being involved with ATRA is about more than titles. It's about staying connected to the transmission industry, supporting continued training and sharing knowledge that helps strengthen independent transmission shops and the technicians behind them.
