๐Ÿšจ Is your truck trying to tell you something? ๐Ÿšจ

If you're hearing a whine, growl, or vibration from the rear of your truck, don't ignore it!

Your differential (rear end) may have worn bearings, damaged gears, or other internal issues. Catching the problem early can often save you money and prevent further damage.

Sometimes a repair is all that's needed. Other times, a quality replacement differential may be the most affordable option. Either way, our team will help you find the solution that makes the most sense for your vehicle and your budget.

๐Ÿš— Your Check Engine Light Came On... Now What?

You're driving down the road, singing along to your favorite song, when suddenly a light shaped like an engine appears on your dashboard. Do you pull over? Ignore it? Hope it goes away?

That light is called the Check Engine Light (CEL), also known as the Service Engine Soon Light. It's not a maintenance reminderโ€”it's your vehicle's way of telling you that the engine control module has detected a problem that needs attention.

โš ๏ธ If the light is flashing: Pull over as soon as it is safe to do so. A flashing Check Engine Light can indicate a severe engine misfire that may cause damage to your engine or catalytic converter. Turn the vehicle off and give us a call. We can help determine the next steps and arrange towing if needed.

๐ŸŸก If the light is solid: Your vehicle may still be safe to drive, but it should be diagnosed as soon as possible. Check Engine Lights are often related to your vehicle's emissions, fuel, ignition, or engine management systems.

Many places can read the trouble codes stored in your vehicle, but those codes only point us toward the affected systemโ€”they don't tell us exactly what's wrong. Proper testing and diagnostics are needed to find the root cause and prevent unnecessary repairs.

Don't ignore your Check Engine Light. Early diagnosis can save you time, money, and prevent larger repairs down the road.

๐ŸŽฃ๐Ÿ•๏ธ Did you know your trailer tires may need replacement long before the tread wears out?

Unlike vehicle tires, trailer tires often fail due to age rather than mileage. Most trailer tires begin to become more susceptible to separation and blowouts around 4-6 years old.

โš ๏ธ The scary part? Trailer tire failures are rarely just a flat tire. A blowout can shred the tire and cause expensive damage to your trailer.

Before your next camping trip, boating adventure, or weekend getaway:
โœ… Check tire age
โœ… Inspect for cracks and weathering
โœ… Verify proper tire pressure
โœ… Have wheel bearings and tires inspected

Look for the DOT date code on the tire sidewall. The last four digits tell you when the tire was made! For example, a DOT code ending in 3914 means the tire was manufactured during the 39th week of 2014.

A few minutes of preventative maintenance can save you hours stranded on the side of the road.

๐Ÿš—๐Ÿ›‘ When was the last time your brake fluid was checked?

Most drivers don't think about brake fluid until there's a problemโ€”but it's one of the most important fluids in your vehicle!

Brake fluid absorbs moisture over time, which can reduce braking performance and even damage brake system components. If your brake pedal feels soft, travels farther than normal, or your brake fluid looks dark or discolored, it may be time for a brake fluid exchange.

๐Ÿ”ง Healthy brake fluid should be clear to light gold in color.
โš ๏ธ Brown, black, or green fluid can indicate contamination and potential brake system issues.

Regular brake fluid maintenance helps keep your braking system operating safely and reliably.

Not sure what your brake fluid looks like? Let us take a look! Give us a call and schedule an inspection today.
