In this season of giving, we’re grateful to announce the launch of our 9th Annual Fix It Forward Program at Jarvis Automotive LLC. If you or someone you know is experiencing financial hardship and struggling to afford necessary vehicle repairs, we want you to know—you’re not alone.

With the rising cost of living affecting families and small businesses throughout our community, we hope this program brings a bit of relief and light during a challenging time.

The Fix It Forward Program was created from our desire to support local families who have fallen on tough times. We understand how difficult it can be when a vehicle is unsafe, unreliable, or unable to pass Connecticut emissions testing—especially when finances are stretched thin. Our goal is to help get essential vehicles back on the road for those who truly need a hand.

Selected recipients will receive vehicle repairs at no cost, made possible through the generosity of Jarvis Automotive LLC, contributions from our caring customers, and the support of NAPA Auto Parts of South Windsor. We are deeply thankful for everyone who helps make this program possible each year.

To ensure fairness and proper review, all entries must be submitted through our website. We kindly ask that you do not send submissions by email. While we are unable to respond to each entry individually, we will reach out directly to those who are selected.

We would like to announce our 2024 Fix It Forward recipents. We are late with this post, however the repairs were done much more promptly. We recieved many great nominations, but we were lucky enough to select 3 families this year. We want to thank Napa Auto Parts of South Windsor, as well as our dedicated team and everyone who submitted nominations and donations. We thank you all for your support that allows us to continue to bless families in need of car repairs. With your help we were able to complete a total of $7,441.11 in repairs at no cost to the recipents. We look foward to many more years of giving back to our community.

What We’re Looking For:
• Experience: Minimum of 10 years as an automotive technician with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role a plus.
• Expertise: Proficiency in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles of all makes and models. In all areas of repair Including but not limited to engine and transmission replacement , electrical diagnostic , drivability , timing belts and chains, head gasket replacements , scan tool operation , wiring diagram understanding , etc
• Leadership Skills: Ability to lead, train, and motivate a team of technicians to ensure high-quality work and excellent customer service.
• Certification: ASE Certification preferred. Additional manufacturer-specific certifications are a plus.
• Customer-Focused: A strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining positive relationships with clients.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead, supervise, and mentor the service team to ensure timely and accurate vehicle repairs and maintenance.
• Perform complex diagnostic and repair work on vehicles, ensuring quality and efficiency.
• Provide guidance and training to junior technicians and apprentices.
