On Saturday May 21, 2022. We lost one of own. Our driver Chris Russell stopped to help a stranded motorist change a tire when he was struck and killed by a hit and run driver. Chris was a great guy; he had a huge heart who helped others whenever he could. Chris was also passionate about animals, taking in several orphaned squirrels he raised, and he rehabbed them in hopes for release. This was Chris, always there to help he may not have always had a smile on his face, but he got the job done. Chris was a hardworking individual and never said no. No situation was too difficult for him, he always found a way to get it done. No car was too tricky for Chris, he always found some creative way to get it done. As I said in one interview Chris was like a walking tow truck dictionary, if you asked about something Chris usually had the answer. Just a couple weeks ago I had a car with a broken tire that I struggled to get onto the flatbed. I sent Chris a picture and said, "how can I fix this." Chris called me, told me to calm down and walked me through how to do it. Even though he was home he was still there to help me. That was Chris just a phone call away. Chris to me was a mentor and a great friend. He leaves behind big shoes to fill and will be missed by all. Rest easy Chris Russell and we will take the chains from here. Last tow call May 21, 2022.
