Orlando, New York City, Tampa Bay, Washington DC and the state of Florida all have something in common. Their official tourism offices recommend us to the people visiting.

We also picked up a Tripadvisor Travelers' Choice award this year and an A+ from the BBB, which we're pretty proud of. But mostly it comes down to a neighbor in each of those cities showing up on time, over and over.

Wherever you're headed in the US this season, there's a good chance one of them is nearby.

Here's the honest holiday timeline.

Thanksgiving week equipment is going now, cruise terminals run out first, then Orlando, then anywhere it snows, and the back half of December follows the same order about three weeks later.

Book this month and move the dates later if your plans change, because that's a much easier problem than a scooter that's already out.

Long weekend, one beach and nobody sitting anything out. The beach wheelchairs were already there when they arrived, which meant the whole weekend got to be about the water and the company instead of how far it was across the sand. However you're spending yours, we hope you get all of it.
