This beautiful Chevy C10 came to us after a nightmare experience at another restoration shop. Despite us supplying the parts, that shop had no business attempting an LS swap. They botched the installation, blamed everyone else, and left the truck with so many issues that another local shop couldn't even tune it. The laundry list of problems was honestly too long to write down.
We stepped in, traced the issues, and did what it took to get this truck running right. We completely re-did the engine bay wiring because the previous harness was literally burned. We also installed a Holley Terminator X Max and put in a correct fan and shroud system to keep it cool—something the last shop skipped entirely and a Cortney Green tune.
In the end, the C10 made some decent numbers on the dyno. The customer is finally happy, but his wallet definitely took a heavy hit. Stop taking your projects to cheap, inexperienced shops. It will always cost you double to fix bad work. Do it right the first time!
