Hey everybody! Just wanted to say sorry for all the messages I've been getting and haven't responded to! I've recently moved to a new dealership and haven't had much time to work outside of the dealer. The weather hasn't been much help either. I'll try to take on more as weather warms up and can fit to a better schedule! If you need any repairs ASAP I highly recommend Jon's Auto Repair. 2020 Chevy Equinox Turbo Bypass Solenoid with an electrical Fault! Some Nasty wiring was found but the true problem was hidden out of sight! I learned to always test to every extent on this one!

This Ford F550 was misfiring badly on cylinder # 5. Jon and I found a faulty ignition coil was at fault according to our tests performed with a picoscope.

This was a Chevy Malibu my mentor Jonathan Haffer and I were able to diagnose and fix at Jon's Auto Repair. The first picture is a waveform we captured from the vehicle where the intake valve was opening late. After further investigation we found that the timing chain was damaged due to broken timing chain guides. You can also see the metal clogging the solenoids pictured below from the chain wearing away. We were able to replace the chain, guides, actuators, and sprockets and get this car back on the road again.

This vehicle was diagnosed at the dealership in Ashland KY, but the customer denied repairs after they were told it would cost $470 to repair it! Plus the diagnostic fee coming upto around $180! The customer called me and we got it done for 60% less. Given the situation with the truck being lifted and the sensor not long enough this was the best repair I could provide. We are looking into a longer wheel speed sensor. For now this was the best decision.
