🛠️ Shop Update: Fixing a Common Silverado Headache!

We had this Chevy Silverado 1500 in the shop dealing with a stubborn "Small EVAP Leak" code. Those can be tricky to track down, but the team got right to work.

After running a diagnostic smoke test, we found the culprit: the plastic fuel sending unit in the gas tank had actually cracked, allowing fuel vapors to escape.

The Fix:

✅ Dropped the tank and pulled the old, cracked plastic unit.

✅ Installed a newly designed, upgraded metal sending unit. Since it’s metal instead of plastic, this customer won't have to worry about it cracking again down the road!

✅ Ran a final smoke test to confirm the system is 100% sealed and ready for the road.
